Ecclesiology: If this is us, what do we do? Part 2
    Series: This is Us

    I Peter 2:5-9; Hebrews 4:14-16

The Point: The local church is a concentrated collection of the "hands and feet" of Jesus. It is also a place for the ministry of the Holy Spirit to work. We may think we can survive without committing to it, but how can we say we're committed to Jesus when we only have passive interest in that which He loves most, His bride.

So what do we do with this?

    I. We repent.
    II. We gather:
          A. To remember.
          B. To forget.
    III. We obey.

    May 27, 2018
    Ecclesiology: The Really Is Us
    Series: This is Us
    Ephesians 2:17-22

The Point: The local church is a concentrated collection of the "hands and feet" of Jesus. It is also a conduit for the ministry of the Holy Spirit to work. We may think we can survive without committing to it, but how can we say we're committed to Jesus when we only have passive interest in that which He loves most, His bride?

    I. Religion without relationships should feel tense (vs 17-19).
II. Jesus creates for himself a people in whom he dwells (vs 20-22).
