Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus (Part 2)
By: (All)
Series: (All)

We had technical issues with the recording of this sermon and only have the second half of the sermon recorded. We will try to recover the first part and post it as soon as possible.

Acts 4:1-22

The Point: Every Christian must take a careful, daily examination of his or her faith. If we cannot find even the slightest hint of persecution, our faith in Jesus may simply be too closeted.

I. The establishment was paralyzed (vs. 13-18).
II. The Apostles were emboldened (vs. 19-22).

    Daniel 6

The Point: Sure, there are times each one of us can be or will be, consumed by fear. It's human nature. However, the manner in which we respond to fear shows where our faith lies: in ourselves, or in the One who created us.

Two questions we have to ask when fear consumers us...

    I. What is the genesis of fear?
II. What am I going to do about it?
