Broken people need a healing Savior
    Series: This is Us
    Ephesians 2:1-10
The Point: We're all in the same boat. That's a good thing and a bad thing. Nobody in this room is going to Heaven based on their "goodness". We all need Jesus. So, while the road of salvation belongs to each of us individually, we can walk our paths together.
    I. Admit our condition (vs. 1-3).
II. Acknowledge Jesus sacrifice (vs. 4-7).
    III. Abandon self-righteousness (vs.8-10).

    Paterology: God Is
    Series: This is Us
The Point: God created us for fellowship with Him, but His desire is that we would worship Him with everything we have. We just fall short of that standard most of the time.
    I. God is....Just.
    II. God is....Love.
    III. God is....Holy.
    IV. God is....Sovereign.

    Christology: The Fifth Cup
    Series: This is Us
    Jeremiah 25:15-17, Luke 22:39-46, 24:1-12
The Point: Jesus' resurrection is the point. But, before Jesus arose, He drank deeply from a cup. Its contents were meant for us, but Jesus drank it on our behalf.
    I. Jesus' death stole our defeat.
II. Jesus' resurrection assured our victory.

    Ordinary Hands / Extraordinary Savior
    Acts 5:12-16
The Point: Our culture has built up a mentality that you must have a celebrity's limelight to make a difference. Jesus doesn't want your fame. He simply wants your obedience.
    I. Miracles Were Performed By The Hands of Men, Empowered Through The Heart of God. (vs. 12-13)
II. Miracles Focused Attention Away From The Law And Onto Grace. (vs. 14-16)

    The Field, and the Phonies
There were problems with our recording and we only have the last 15 minutes of the sermon.
    Acts 5:1-11
The Point: Hypocrisy within the church causes us to play a role that we're further along in the maturation process than we actually are. It kills the church from within.
    I. Among the people of God there will always be hypocrites.
II. God has placed us in a fallen world so we can reflect him in the world.

When standing up drives you to your knees
We had technical issues with the recording. We have the second part of the sermon and we'll try to recover the first part and add it to our website as soon as possible.
    Acts 4:23-31
The Point: In the face of immense persecution, the Church's response was to pray. The prayer they prayed wasn't for deliverance from discomfort. It was for boldness of witness.
    I. The prayer was reflective of its recipient.
II. The prayer was rooted in the Gospel.
III. The prayer renounced comfort over mission.
